"Hot Cargo" from Season Two of Highway Patrol is about hijacking trucks. It also features one of my favorite locations from this series -- a cafe. Pop's Cafe is a roadside place that was popular with truckers and it's very obvious from the way Pop grills the truckers who stop about their route and load information that he is up to something. In this case the cargo was tires and the director had some fun with that. Pop and one of his henchman are in the warehouse where they store the hijacked materials. Tire treads also play an important role in the detection action.
