I'm listening to the Willie Nelson album Stardust. The first song on Disc Two was introduced by Louis Armstrong and will probably always be associated with him -- "What a Wonderful World." I guess it doesn't really matter who performs it, this is a great song. Bob Thiele and George David Weiss were inspired. One line that is particularly beautiful:
The bright blessed day and the dark sacred night.Wonderfully balanced phrases, with exactly the right adjectives. You need plenty of sunny days for your health and well-being. And night is supposed to be dark.
