While doing genealogy, I came upon a news article about a fatal accident in 1922.
... an automobile in which he was riding to Martinsville ran off a twenty-five-foot embankment ... (He) was riding alone and there were no witnesses to the accident.
The automobile landed in about six inches of water at the foot of the embankment, but (his) body remained in the machine. It sounds as though the poor guy was just along for the ride, doesn't it? That came to mind when I read another story about an accident in 2010.
A vehicle occupied by (some people) failed to stop in time when it came upon a section of highway where traffic had been halted ...You cannot trust robot cars. To put it another way, robot cars cannot be trust.
