This calling card, which measures two by four inches, was among my grandmother's keepsakes. She was a nurse and so was her friend, Anna, who sent her the card. They attended nursing school in western Illinois in the 1910s.
The Monroe Building, former home of the VNA of Chicago, is being rehabbed. The eighth floor is currently vacant and looking for tenants.
