Our standard weekend fare of an episode of "Highway Patrol" seemed kind of hackneyed. "Hot Rod" featured a couple of brothers knocking off cafes, all of which were well supplied in anticipation of customers cashing their Friday paychecks. $20,000 in small bills on hand at a roadside diner! I was almost as shocked as this woman was at the sudden turn of events.
We're a few shows into Season Two and I find this 1950s TV program holds up really well.
