Last night's MeTV broadcast of The Fugitive featured an amazing child actor, Johnny Jensen. The episode was "When the Wind Blows." It originally aired in December 1965. And because it is The Fugitive, it was another exceptional hour of television.
I stayed up through all the obnoxious commercials MeTV runs in order to check the cast. I only recognized two of the guest performers (Greg Mullavey and Harry Townes) but I thought maybe the names of others in the cast would mean something to me. In particular, I hoped that the boy who played young Kenny had gone on to stardom.
Johnny Jensen acted for 10 years, ending with the role of Scotty Baldwin #5 on General Hospital in 1975. The director of this episode writes about the experience on his blog. It's an interesting read, particularly if the program is still fresh in your mind. Ralph Senensky, the man who got the terrific performance from Johnny, ends his reflections on the episode with these words:

Johnny Jensen, wherever you are, you are now a man in his mid-fifties. Just know you still have a very devoted fan.Read more about Ralph Senensky's work in the industry at his website, Ralph's Cinema Trek. Pretty cool to be able to interact with this noted director through your comments on his columns about Star Trek, Dr. Kildare, Route 66, The Waltons and so on.
