Are we in the third generation of America?

The first generation builds the business.
The second generation makes it a success.
The third generation wrecks it.

Let's say the first generation ended with the Civil War. And the second generation ended with the 1950s. And then the Baby Boomers got busy wrecking our country. 


A government with unbridled power is a wrecking crew. If I'm doing the math right, the crew should wrap up its work around 2040. My great-grandchildren can be blessed with the opportunity to start over.
