Facebook is targeted blogging, although I don't do politics on either forum. I enjoy life. Why muck it up with political discussion?
Recent blogging via FB:
Kitchens of the 1950s and today.
Middle Easterners and Islam.
Will Ferrell and Dustin Hoffman in Stranger than Fiction. Will is a sympathetic character rather than a schmuck and Dustin is a coffee-addicted professor. Likable film, including Maggie Gyllenhaal (soft g). Kids shouldn't ride bikes in downtown Chicago, though. That was a strange plot device.
Hitchcock's Sabotage and Saboteur. Different movies, but equally transfixing. Only six years apart but technically they seem like a generation apart. I especially loved the scene with Bob Cummings and the little girl, Susie, in Saboteur. She was so taken with him I could have sworn she was his daughter in real life.
The weather, which is living up to its publicity.
