Speaking of borders and serial killers

Which I was in two separate posts. The Netflix flick was "Bordertown." True storyish, with Jennifer Lopez thrown in for believability. Hundreds of young women who work in American-owned factories in Mexico have been raped and murdered over the years. I tuned in for about ten minutes (which included a ludicrous scene with Martin Sheen) and then tuned out. A garish slasher movie. Looked ugly, sounded ugly, ugly all around. A world of difference between "Bordertown" and "Citizen X." One was unhinged, one was gripping.

An amazon.com reviewer says the documentary that is on the DVD is better than the movie. That I could believe.
