Gen. Thomas Jonathan "Stonewall" Jackson died on May 10, 1863. I visited Lexington, Va., several years ago with family members. It was an overnight stop on a two-week "patriotic tour," as my father referred to it yesterday.
The photo of the Jackson gravesite was taken on July 4, 2006, at 6:40 a.m. The camera has a good memory.
