Physician, diagnose thy self

Dr. William Adams Curry, who was elected representative from Cole county, Mo., in 1862, was lucid as he lay dying. From the Missouri Historical Review of 1914-1915,
The night before he died he felt his own pulse, and remarked to his daughter, Mrs. Bradbury: "My pulse is mighty strong to be as near death as I am. I can't live more than a few hours."
Dr. Curry died in Kansas City at 6 a.m. on July 28, 1914. He was 87 years old.
