What's the advantage to deep-frying a turkey? It takes 51 minutes to cook a 12.75-lb. bird, once the oil is hot enough (that takes 35 minutes). We cooked it on the deck even though it's an indoor fryer. Surprisingly, it smelled good frying. And best of all, it's juicy and flavorful!
