There are lots of ways to start a day. Weather permitting, I stop and look at the Missouri River every morning before I enter the Capitol. This is how it looked today.
Sometimes the first song that comes up on my MP3 player is the perfect way to start a walk for a day. It's hard to beat yesterday morning's opening number, "San Antonio Rose," as sung by Ray Price and Willie Nelson. (Click on the arrow button in that gray box to hear a snatch of the song.) It's from a 1980 album of the same title. I especially love the tone and quality of Ray Price's voice on that song. He owns "San Antonio Rose." My life's being a pleasure and you're helping, Ray.
