Until a week ago, I was not aware there was a TV series based on the Steve Canyon comic strip. I bought a DVD that had four episodes and we just watched it. It was surprisingly gripping. In one show Lt. Col. Canyon drops a hydrogen bomb on a deserted island as part of a USAF test. The actor who plays Steve Canyon seems perfect for the part. I like his total control of things when he is on duty.
Commercials are included with the shows and many of them are ads for other ABC programs. Like "77 Sunset Strip" (snap, snap). Yes, I would buy that, too.
