I'll catch them if I can

Once again, I will search the U.S. Census for 1860 and 1870, this time in a last-ditch effort to find David Daugherty and Mary Ellen Bush. They were married in Fayette county, Ohio, in 1858. The next lead I have on them is in the 1880 Census for Cole county, Missouri.

I am grateful that I am not sitting at a microfilm reader in another town scrolling through reels of film in vain. I am grateful that I can do first-name searching via Heritage Quest, using the public library portal. I am grateful that Family Search dot Org will do a "close match" retrieval at no cost through the Web.

But, really, Dave and Mary Ellen, what did you have to hide? You could give Frank Abagnale tips!
