Let's talk about me. This post on conversational narcissism is interesting to me. My take on myself as a conversationalist is that I like to hear people's stories and I ask them questions. I used to work at a newspaper and "interviewing" comes easily enough for me.

I used to resist "small talk" because it just seemed to me pointless, but I'm realizing that if you don't take interest in the "small" things in life, you won't have formed that trust to talk about the bigger issues.
