The Case of the Resolute Reformer

Peter: It's an investment, Father.
Peter's father: Investment? The only things you've ever invested in are booze, fast cars and faster women.

Peter's blond friend: He said that you were a man of inflexible virtue, that you'd never done a single thing wrong in all your life.

Peter's father confesses to a murder: ... shot Roger Quigley ... just now.
PM: Shot him just now, just right now?

Witness: So the county wants to build something on my property and the kid wants to cash in on it courtesy of his old man. It's copacetic with me.

Judge: Now, Mr. Cain, it is obvious you're dissembling. Answer the question.

PM: Where were you on the night of the murder?
Witness: I wasn't even in town. I was driving in an all-night sports car rally.

Drat! The Perry Mason TV Series database says that Paul Drake is "nearly seduced by a rum-soaked floozy and  breaks the record for the 100-yard dash to escape her clutches." It also says this scene is cut from the syndicated version and, unfortunately, it was. A reason why I should buy the DVDs.
