Listening to The Incredible Film Music Box, disc one. Great stuff -- music from "Gone with the Wind," "The Searchers," "Psycho," "The Third Man," and more. I thought it was fun when I was a kid, the commercial that had us singing along, "Winners warm up with Malt-O-Meal." I like Malt-O-Meal but it detracts from my enjoyment of "Colonel Bogey March."
On the other hand, maybe I need to broaden my horizons. Verses to go with that tune have been around nearly as long as the march (written in 1914), I guess. The Greatest Generation thinks Hitler and I think Malt-O-Meal.
