My mother mentioned seeing a comic strip that drove home the point that newspapers are getting to be lightweights. Since we haven't subscribed to a newspaper (other than a small-town weekly purely for sentimental reasons) in 20 years or so, I'd never heard of "One Big Happy." In Sunday's panel, the dog can't fetch the paper. It's not too heavy. It's so skimpy it blew away.
