We just watched the Martin Sheen-Sissy Spacek movie, "Badlands." It has elements of the Charlie Starkweather-Caril Fugate murderous rampage from 1958. "Badlands" came out in 1974 and, as I said, I just watched it. For the first time. It is one of the most visually striking things I've ever seen. The scene inside Sissy's house, just before her father (Warren Oates) is shot, is a collection of paintings. Really amazing.
