Three robotics teams were demonstrating their projects in the Missouri Capitol this morning. The participants were high-school students from Lee's Summit, a suburb of Kansas City. The Lee's Summit district was the only one in the nation, among districts with at least three teams, to qualify 100 percent of its teams for the championship competition. They built their robots from kits and had to raise the money themselves. The robots are designed to play soccer.
