Big River, a musical by Roger Miller based on The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, opens over Memorial Day weekend and runs throughout June at Kirkwood, Mo. Whenever "River in the Rain" comes up on my MP3 player, I stop and look at the big river near my workplace. It's the Missouri, rather than the Mississippi, but they do join up.
