I picked up a Gold Box Deal on amazon.com Wednesday (or maybe it was just yesterday). Roy Orbison and Friends, a Black and White Night. Wow! It's sensational.
I feel kind of bad for getting it half-price but I wouldn't have known about it except for the Gold Box Deal (I'm hooked on those). And the royalties don't matter to Roy, since he died 21 years ago.
Everyone performing is having a blast. Quite a group of friends: James Burton, Bruce Springsteen, k.d. lang, Jennifer Warnes, Bonnie Raitt, Elvis Costello, Tom Waits, Jackson Browne and others. It's as much fun to watch it as to listen to it.
