Sunrise, sunset

Equinoxes and solstices. I've know "about" them since I was young, but just today I learned "around" them. I just assumed that as the days grow longer, they were growing at the same rate on both ends. Sunrise a minute earlier, sunset a minute later each day. That is not true. Sunrise today and yesterday were at the same time (skipping the seconds, nanoseconds, whatever). Sunset will be a minute later today than it was yesterday.

Find the spreadsheet for your town here. Even my little burg, which is about 90 miles off the "coast" of Cuba, is in the system.

Keep learning! And remembering is good, too.

I'll keep taking pictures of the sunrise and sunset but the actual time will be when spectacularness hits.
