Patricia L. Buxton retired as Revisor of Statutes for the state of Missouri on December 31, 2009. She's had an illustrious legal career.
Patty is a very charming woman. A particularly endearing trait was the way she took new hires in our department under her wing. She's just one of those people who is always making new friends, while keeping the old.
Too bad we didn't get the chance to "roast" her in fond farewell. Everyone would have a Patty story to tell. And none of us could outdo Madame Revisor herself in that department. She took her work seriously but she doesn't take herself seriously.
