Memory bank, November 24

Dan Cooper parachuted out of a Boeing 747 on November 24, 1971, after receiving $200,000 from Northwest Airlines for not blowing up the plane as he threatened to do. A reporter mistakenly called him "D.B. Coooper," which is the name I've always associated with him. He's still at large or he's long dead.

Dan/D.B. Cooper. Amelia Earhart. Judge Crater. Jimmy Hoffa. Michael Rockefeller. What's your favorite missing persons case? Or rather, which one would you most liked to see resolved?
