As I recall it was kind of jumbled. Perhaps she had an earpiece and was relaying the information as it was coming in to her.

A congressman from California was murdered as he investigated the activities of the cult. Leo Ryan, three journalists and a cult member trying to escape were gunned down in an airplane.
