It's the epitaph on his tombstone. Songwriter (and singer) Johnny Mercer was born on November 18, 1909. I have two Johnny Mercer CDs, ones where he is performing. I probably have a bunch of Johnny Mercer songs on other albums. He was a remarkable lyricist and his singing style was really charming.
