John Philip Sousa was a member of the U.S. Marine Band from the age of 13 through 20. At age 26 he became leader of that band and in 1888 he wrote the march "Semper Fidelis." Here we have 28 members of the United States Marine Band performing "Semper Fidelis" at the grave of J.P. Sousa on November 6, 2009, his 155th birthday anniversary.
