Surname v. Msname

About 15 years ago, LohMan and I attended the ceremony when his brother-in-law graduated from seminary. I noticed one really offbeat surname appeared twice in the list of graduates. To illustrate, it would be as if Jim Hutton and Paula Prentiss got married and they were to forever after be known as Jim Huttiss and Paula Huttiss.

There are interesting comments about couples' decisions on surnames in Megan McArdle's blog post.
