It seems unreal that the Kennedy era is over. There is one surviving sister, Jean Kennedy Smith. August 2009 was a tough month for her, wasn't it?
I know there are politicians in the second generation but they don't seem to have captured the American imagination. Maybe they haven't tried, or maybe they don't want to.
