We did come upon a terrible accident on the Will Rogers Turnpike in eastern Oklahoma on Friday. A truck ran over cars and nine people were killed. The emergency crews from Joplin were arriving as we got there. We were in the westbound lanes and the accident happened in the eastbound lane. Tragic business. When we got to our destination we learned that nine people had died.
Interestingly, LohMan noticed a stock trailer in the mess but none of the rest of us did. Fire trucks, ambulances, helicopters, mashed vehicles, traffic backed up for miles in 100-degree weather.
